Last year's Headless Halloween costume - for comparison
I worked for several weeks last year, getting this costume together. It was beautiful to see in person. A vintage, black lace housedress with a crushed velvet cape. Long black gloves. And the ghost carries her head in her hands.
~K~ has already chosen next year's costume. Sherlock Holmes. This will be the last time I mention it until October 1, 2006.
Oh. and Rabbit Rabbit.

This is a really great costume - Gosh, you are an artist! I can't understand why she wanted to take this off that fast. But I can imagine lots of people asking to take pictures!
Times will get better - keep holding on!
Best wishes from Germany,

Thank you very much. The problem with the costume is that the part that rests on her head is made of very small (American) football shoulder pads. This was to give the ghost's shoulders a more human shape - but supported by her head.
~K~ is so busy and wiggly that she just would not stand still for fittings. Every time, she would insist that it was comfortable. However when she had to wear it for several hours on the big night it began to slide around and poke at her head.
We compromised and she only had to wear it for half of the trick or treating route.
Again, thank you for your kind words.
