At the top of my xmas list....
of my materialistic yet practical wishes..... I mean, as much as I want it, I can't click my heels three times and say "There's no place like home" and miraculously have it all as it was before...
But in the meantime, I can dream about the attainable.
I would absolutely love a T-shirt that read "I survived Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and all I got was this lousy T-shirt". Just about sums it up, huh? Or this shirt except my bus would read "W. Palm Beach".
But also on my wish list are the following:
This poster has tons of meaning for me but is a little too pricey for an evacuee like me.
Then there's this pin. But here's a little secret - my mom and I are each getting one for xmas. These we could afford.
And I wouldn't mind a bumper sticker like this or this.
Ultimately, I want to be wearing, showing, shouting this one "New Orleans, Happy to Be Back Home"
Here's hoping you get a wish or two to come true this Christmas. Well, most of you anyway.
