photos from our porch

The water continued to rise for the next few hours - alas I have no photos as we were preparing to move into the attic.

That is so scary. THanks for sharing your stories with all of us. I love the columns on your porch. I hope you are able to save your house.

I read back in your archives and just wanted to tell you I am scared of roaches, too. I scream so loud that my husband thinks someone has broken into the house and lying in wait to hurt us.

While I didn't think it possible that the roaches outside of SE Louisiana could be any larger or nastier looking, I must say that the few I've seen lately (we are currently outside Houston, Texas)while they are much smaller, they have been the most hideously deformed insects ever to have seen the light of day.

On the other hand, I tried to vacuum up a rather large spider and its grip on the wall was so strong that it couldn't be sucked up. I know it's waiting for me now.

    P.S. Thanks for stopping by.
