Well, it worked before.
So it's after 11pm and the dog goes into to "say" goodnight to the g-parents and ends up hiding under the bed. She would not come out for anything - not for promises of good-girl treats, not for leash-shaking bye-byes, not for cat biting, nothing. If you'd lift the dust ruffle, you could barely see the tip of her nose and the twinkling in her eyes.
So I stood outside the door, opened just a little, and meowed. And meowed. And meowed. And (feeling very much the fool) meowed. The g-parent came into the hall with a flashlight to see what was meowing. The cat came into the hall and sat a few feet away to see what was meowing. ~k~ called from her room to see what was meowing.
But the dog? didn't budge.
