One day last week.....

~K~: (taking off her ipod headphones) oooh, turn that up, I like that song.

Me: (turning up the volume on the car radio)

~K~: (after listening for a moment) That's not the song I thought it was.

Me: What song did you think it was?

~K~: "Shake Your Booty"

Me: You like that song?

~K~: Yeah.


fast forward to this afternoon...

Me: (hearing KC and the Sunshine Band's "Shake Your Booty" and turning up the volume on the car radio because that's the kind of loving mother I am) Your song's playing.

~K~: (wearing ipod headphones) What?

Me: That song you like, "Shake Your Booty", is on the radio.

~K~: I've heard it before.

Me: Yeah, but last week...

~K~: ...

Me: Nevermind.
